Do you want to Sword fight?

First thing you need to do is realize there's a battle, and it's as real as you looking at your computer screen. Look for a second at your hands [look now]. You were created on earth for a purpose, and God knows the number of hairs on your head... God knows you- do you know Him? This is NOT a game. Many marketing skills tap into this feeling of the unknown, or you feeling like you actually accomplished something... When in reality, once your done with that Game- it's on to the next one. There's something more to this life than video games, and even more than 'Church' as it exists. I dont think Christ came into this world so we could have church. He came so our lives could be changed.

With that said, your actions will choose where you want to go. Your friends lead you places, you lead your friends places, and before you new it, as years go by- there you are. Somewhere different. You can believe in demons or angels or not, but the fact is even scientific: There is a eternal force behind every electron, every atom, every structure we cant see, something is scientifically controlling it... and we have no idea. Here's a fact: God loves you. God made today for you to love and be thankful for. There are evil forces in the world that would want you to hate today, hate friends, authority, or even yourself...



The lines in the sand have been drawn, this is more than good V.S. evil, it's light against darkness, it's wrapping yourself against truth or selfish ambition. It's very difficult to fight yourself- so dont. God wants to help us and show us not only what a true friend is, but what life is worth.

You can hear from God, He's not a distant 'being' or a cop in the sky waiting for you to mess up or an ATM where you press the right buttons and you magically get what you want... It's real.

Once you begin to hear your thoughts and understand your motives... things change... either a fight occurs, or you surrender. Saying "I can quit whenever I want" or "It's not hurting anyone" are words of a person walking into a jail. It's a choice.

The Bible is referred to as a double edged sword, able to cut bone and marrow, soul and spirit. Take that literally and you may think of yourself as a demon hunter or exorcist...  Don't get weird. When You obey Christ, God wins. When He tells you to use your sword, there is a Godly power that no one can see (or maybe they can) being released. It's never about you doing 'magic tricks' it's about you hearing God, Having a close relationship with Him, and being obedient.

Pick up a bible- Start reading in Matthew, then romans, then Phillipians (My favorite is Chapter 6)...
Be careful- it's sharp.

Like I said before- It's a choice.

I am a sword fighter, with the bible, and with actual swords. Training takes on a whole new meaning.

Seriously though,
If you want to actually sword fight with swords, leave comments, read "Sword fighting" blog entries, and buy a hard plastic sword to get your muscles all tuned up- it's tiring!
