Update - Mid October

A Fresh fire has hit me regarding the KOV again, I'm planning on starting the program/ministry in Spring. At that time, a lot will be assembled- sponsors, volunteers, mentors, mentees, everything will be ready to go and have a "grand opening" if you will, in spring. At this time I have 1 mentee, by the end of this month I will plan on having a total of 3, with the ultimate goal of 4. When a mentor wants to invest his time with this program, he can (with training, permission, and time) have up to 4 mentors at MAX.
During this winter I want to have 4 mentees, the max allowed, and find suitable people who want to be mentors, sponsors, or staff to help run the KOV.
I have word that my name has been put up for knighting within the order of the knights of malta, a prestegious, honorable real-world order. As much as I would *love* to be knighted by them, I dont want it to become a hallmark in my life, or a shiney button on my shirt that I can show off to others. God wants real people, nameless, faceless, selfless, willing to give all for His purposes. I admit I am only able to sufficiently help youth in some key areas, but that's why this program is being built! To form a single-minded entity, able to touch all walks of life, having fun, building disciples, without agenda.

This should be fun.

New Initiate!

Well, The knights of valor are slowly being told and brought together to share common interest in this task of mentoring. It's so cool to see all this come together!! The KOV have initiated it's first "mentee" and have progressed to the second rank already... It's crazy to think... no, I'll think about all that boring stuff later. Until then.

The Knights of Valor: A New beginning

So it has finally begun- the dream that was put in me when I was 14 is now a reality. The Knights of valor have now a purpose and a goal. I have initiated my first learner into the order, this learner will progress through the ranks to finally achieve knighthood within the order. I am excited to see how his journey will progress in the Months to come.

I will be working part time to support myself, and this learner. Typically the learner would pay a fee for these services and ranks, but all that money just goes back to him, and knowing me, I would probably spend some of my own money to further him.

UPDATE:
It has been 3 days since he was initiated as a learner within the order, he displays a lot of great attitude and service to others, he a willing individual with the heart capacity of an ocean. It is my pleasure to develop this man to a mighty man of God, to mentor him in many ways. His first task as a learner is to serve. Serve his parents, Serve others. This is a basic principle of service "To serve others higher than yourself - To become a servant to all" This is not yet a step of service to God, that is later. This is developing a strong foundation of pure selfless servant heart.

The sickness within

As I woke up at 4am, I could not indulge myself in the common task of walking... I was dizzy and felt like crap. I wonder- what if sicknesses could be simply coughed up, and then your better? what if the secret sin we have in our lives could be simply coughed up and thrown in the trash? how nice you would feel if simplicity were the norm for all human life. Ya- I'm sick, if your reading this pray a quick prayer for me that I would feel 100% better for this weekend. thanks all.

The beginning of the end

Every day, it seems, I walk ever closer to some goal I have not set. I honestly dont know where I am going in life- all I know is that I trust in my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. My sword and my heart will follow.
